Soap - Calendula- Handmade

Handmade, scented, natural soap bar. This handmade soap is made in small batches using the cold process method. Made of Calendula essential oil, Calendula tea, and Calendula petals and flowers grown in my garden. Aged 4 weeks and ready for your beauty routine! This soap has a wonderful lather, and the gentle smell of Calendula. Calendula is an annual flowering plant of the daisy family, known for its bright yellow or orange flowers and its long history of use in traditional medicine and as a culinary herb. Also known as pot marigold or Mary's Gold, it is native to the Mediterranean region but can now be found around the world as an annual flower. It is used in various forms, including oils, creams, and ointments, for skin care and wound healing. Calendula essential oil is primarily used for skin health, offering anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and moisturizing properties. It is said that it can help soothe irritated skin, heal wounds, and reduce redness associated with conditions like eczema and diaper rash. Its antioxidant content also helps protect the skin from environmental stressors and may slow the signs of aging. Bars weigh approx. 114g (4.02oz) slight variation from bar to bar because they are hand-cut. PLEASE NOTE: My soaps are made by hand, please allow for clarity & shape/size differences in your finished product. This soap will last a long time if kept dry. Please let the bar air dry between uses & keep it away from direct streams of water.
